Rosalee Mayeux is a stand-up comedian, actress, former Ford model, and award-winning writer. Winner of Cedric The Entertainer and CBS’s Comedy Pays, Mayeux’s over 300 commercials, movies, and TV shows on ABC, NBC, CBS, and Nickelodeon only scratch the surface of her long career. She started her journey as a high-fashion Ford model in New York/Paris, before transitioning into acting and comedy. As an actress, you know her as Carla Parkett, cult classic love interest in The Lawnmower Man, starring Pierce Brosnan, the desk clerk in Blast From The Past, and the wacky mom in Nickelodeon’s They Came From Outer Space. Mayeux won the coveted Columbine Writers Award in ’05 at the Moondance Int’l Film Festival for her short Coyote Nights.
Rosalee was an artist in residence for Tarantino’s commercial directing division, when she was forced to reconsider her life choices with a treacherous journey with cancer. She then pivoted, turning her lousy health luck into comedy, where she grabs audiences with her particular views on parenting, fighting cancer, and repeating the same mistakes with every romantic relationship.
Rosalee is performing stand-up weekly around Los Angeles in the major comedy clubs and shows around town, headlines in Louisiana, plays Las Vegas, Arizona, Florida and performs at the North Carolina Comedy Fest and B4UDie in Alaska. In addition to her popular TikToks, you can subscribe to her YouTube series, Comedy Girls Road Trip, and her Hometown Stories series about growing up in Louisiana.
