Originally from Tampa, FL, Chaz Carter is an LA-based screenwriter, stand-up comedian and actor. He won the Y’all Laughter Lab for co-writing an adult animated pilot Apt of Solitude, as well as the NW Black Comedy Festival in Portland. Chaz performs stand-up comedy all over the country where he has headlined for NETFLIX IS A JOKE festival and featured for Don’t Tell Comedy. Chaz released his first half-hour special “For here or Togo” on Youtube. His writing and comedy is described as observational, unhinged, and earnest. Chaz is the current co-host of Be There Comedy x Don’t Tell Comedy, alongside Niles Abston in Los Angeles, CA.
