Joshua Higuera is a U.S. Army veteran who served nine years before spending seven years working inside a state correctional prison. After leaving corrections, he turned his real-life experiences into comedy, developing a style that’s relatable, quick-witted, and built on authentic storytelling.
Joshua currently holds a residency at LA Comedy Club in Laughlin, Nevada, where he performs nightly, averaging 7–10 shows each week. He is also a regular performer at LA Comedy Club inside The STRAT in Las Vegas.
Joshua is the creator and producer of Hilariously Discharged, a nationally touring comedy show that brings veterans and civilians together through laughter. Through Hilariously Discharged, he has produced sold-out and packed performances at VFWs, American Legions, veteran organizations, and comedy clubs across the country, including regular shows at Mic Drop Comedy in Chandler, Arizona, San Diego, California, and Plano, Texas.
Drawing from nearly two decades of military and correctional experience, Joshua delivers an unforgettable mix of relatable storytelling, quick wit, and real-life experiences that resonate with audiences from all walks of life.
