Keesha Brownie is an energetic and observant comedian, actor, and producer known for her entrepreneurial spirit and sharp wit. Blending her Jamaican roots with her Canadian upbringing, she has become one of the most sought-after entertainers in the industry.



 



A versatile artist, Keesha has performed on global stages, including the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the She-Devil Comedy Festival in NYC, L.A’s Burbank Festival, The Televised Winnipeg Comedy Festival, and Just For Laughs (Kevin Hart’s LOL Network). In Canada, she is a regular headliner at Kenny Robinson’s legendary Nubian Show, where she has opened for Russell Peters. She also served as a pre-show act for Adam Sandler’s 100% Fresh Tour.



 



Keesha’s contributions to the arts have been widely recognized. In 2025, she received the Arts & Culture Award at the 15th Anniversary International Women’s Achievement Awards. Her debut album, “Ingredients of a Brownie,” was highly praised, earning her a spot on Interrobang’s list of Top Ten Canadian Comics. She has also appeared on Crave TV in the documentary “People of Comedy” and is a frequent voice on SiriusXM’s Just for Laughs Radio.



 



Beyond the stage, Keesha is a dedicated producer and community builder. She co-founded “Jokers Corner” and currently hosts and curates “Stand-Up Stitches” at the Brampton Rose Theatre. From performing in French at the Canadian Comedy Hall of Fame Festival to gracing the stage at Massey Hall, Keesha continues to expand her reach across stand-up, sketch, and theatre.



 



Now based in Toronto, she remains a vibrant force in the entertainment community, always seeking new opportunities to collaborate and innovate.
