Born and raised in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Lived half my life in Denmark and Sweden and currently lives in Montreal.
I started doing standup in Montreal in 2021 and mostly talk about being an immigrant (I have lived in Ethiopia, Denmark, Sweden, Japan and now Canada), and an ex Muslim, not fitting typical stereotypes, just my lived experiences, etc.
I have performed in several cities in Canada (Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto) and also internationally (US, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Greece, Brazil, China, Korea, Czech Republic and Sweden). I am preparing to do my first international tour in Mexico this December (Cancun).
