Peter Liu is a NYC-based stand-up comic with a passport full of stamps and a set full of punchlines. Raised in China, Australia, New Zealand, New Jersey and New England, Peter brings an outsider’s eye and an insider’s charm to every stage he steps on.
His comedy mixes sharp observations, wild family stories, and just the right amount of chaos. Whether he’s roasting cultural norms, navigating the dating world, or unpacking life with his wonderfully weird relatives, Peter keeps the crowd laughing and guessing the whole way through.
He’s performed at top venues like The Wilbur, The Gramercy, Don’t Tell Comedy, The Comedy Store, Laugh Factory, and more. He’s also hit festivals across the country—from SF Sketchfest and New York Comedy Festival to Boston, Boulder and Rogue Island. Along the way, he’s opened for renowned acts like Ronny Chieng, Joe Wong and Jason Leong.
