Sandra Risser is smart, funny, and older than Twinkies. She’s eccentric, not crazy, drives in the fast lane, and can still bench press 500 grams. She believes in the tooth fairy, clean underwear, and Santa Claus.
During the past 25 years, she progressed from beginner to feature to headline at comedy clubs, casinos, and other venues throughout the United States. Her performances include one woman shows in the Edinburgh, Scotland; Brighton, England; and Santa Cruz, CA Fringe Festivals. She has appeared on America’s Got Talent and all 4 judges gave her a yes. Howe Mandell said “You’re amazing. This is wonderful This is viral. There is a shot for you to win the whole thing. Based on that routine you’re a master.” She has a comedy special on Open Bar Comedy and has won the Funniest Comedian in the Valley competition. Sandra had the pleasure to feature for national touring comedians such as Rocky LaPorte and Chris Kattan. She was also honored to be named one of the six Bay area comedians to be sure to see by the San Francisco Chronicle.
Today, based in Phoenix, she continues to travel and entertain audiences with her unique humor.
