An award-winning humor columnist and lifelong Seattleite, comedian Travis Sherer is still figuring some things out. Like, why do we have to stretch before yoga? Travis’ comedy often cheekily covers family and the eccentricities, absurdities, and downright insanity of children. It’s also 100% clean, which means he sometimes gets mistaken for a Mormon — particularly because he also doesn’t drink, doesn’t smoke, and met his wife when he was one year old. And it probably doesn’t help that he’s performed in more churches than he cares to admit. He’s performed in clubs, festivals, wineries, breweries and backyards across the county…and even a cornfield…where he was paid in corn. He’s toured with National Headliners and performed with the best comedians in the Northwest. He even lost at poker to Ray Ramano once.
Travis started Cozy Comedy in 2022. Since then, Cozy has grown to produce 120+ paid shows annually and worked with some of the biggest names in comedy, including Maria Bamford and Kyle Kinane.
He started the state-wide comedy competition Washington’s Funniest Mammal, which will be in it’s fourth year in 2027.
