Will Purpura is a New York based comedian who’s performed all over the country for the past decade with their unique brand of humor. High energy and improvisational, Will’s comedy is upbeat and offbeat!
In addition to recently appearing on PBS performing stand-up for dogs on the show “Shelter Me,” Will has been featured in several festivals such as the Sixth City Comedy Festival in Cleveland, the Westside Comedy Festival in Los Angeles, and the Altercation Comedy Festival, in Austin, TX. In 2023, they took first place in the A-List Comedy Competition in Atlanta, Georgia.
Will’s online presence has gone viral with their jokes and short videos being featured in popular comedy publications such as Points In Case, The Poke (UK) and The Funny Introvert. They regularly posts poorly worded positive affirmations and clumsy life advice videos.
They currently co-host two podcasts: “And The Razzie Goes To,” with comedian Laura Merli where they both cover every Razzie Movie Award winner and the improv-based “Tom And Will Start A Podcast,” with comedian Tom Achilles where they start a new business venture every week.
